Six local community benefit organizations receive funding through Lancaster Cares, supporting the reopening of the Landis Adult Day Services Center, two programs that assist school aged children with online learning, an initiative focused on keeping individuals connected with family members, and programs providing resources and guidance to at-risk and in-need adults through these uncertain times.
Three local community benefit organizations receive funding through Lancaster Cares, supporting a program that provides medical and counseling services to adults and teens, an initiative ensuring uniforms, backpacks, and school supplies can be safely distributed to schoolchildren and a program that provides clients with meals and assists them in looking for additional financial and food resources.
Five local community benefit organizations receive funding through Lancaster Cares, supporting programs that mitigate food insecurity and hunger, a program that monitors the free-roaming cat population, as well as, providing computer equipments to students and PPE for individuals with intellectual disability and autism.

Four local community benefit organizations receive funding through Lancaster Cares, supporting a program geared towards keeping families connected to loved ones and medical professions during Covid-19, two programs working to provide shelter and necessities for refugees and sex-trafficking survivors, as well as, a program that supports community members transitioning into stable housing.
