Four local community benefit organizations receive funding through Lancaster Cares, supporting a program geared towards keeping families connected to loved ones and medical professions during Covid-19, two programs working to provide shelter and necessities for refugees and sex-trafficking survivors, as well as, a program that supports community members transitioning into stable housing.
Three local community benefit organizations receive funding through Lancaster Cares, supporting a bi-lingual project focused on educating adults on child safety, an initiative to safely move families into new homes while following CDC guidelines, and a program that focuses on mental health in Black and Latinx communities during a time of great uncertainty.
