School-Specific Scholarships

Students attending the schools below who are interested in learning more about these scholarships and obtaining application materials should contact their school’s guidance or financial aid department and inquire about the fund listed.

SCHOLARSHIPS FOR THE 2025-2026 SCHOOL YEAR ARE NOW OPEN!

Cocalico High School

Donald M. Coldren and Colleen Leslie Coldren Memorial Scholarship Award

A total of four (4) $4,000 scholarships will be awarded to two maleidentifying and two female-identifying freshmen with financial need to attend a four-year college or university. This award is a one-time, non-renewable grant for their first year.

Recipients are chosen by a five-teacher panel appointed by the Cocalico High School principal.

Garden Spot High School

John H. Gehr Fund

One (1) $250 scholarship will be awarded based on academic excellence, intended college major (specified as telecommunications, business, information technology, and engineering), essay, work ethic, leadership, communication skills, and activities.

Students submit completed applications to the Guidance Office by the deadline.

Lampeter-Strasburg High School

Frank A. Wint Memorial Fund

Two (2) $500 awards will be given to members of the senior class in recognition of the qualities of strength and character, effort for self-improvement, and contribution to fellow students by example and achievement. The emphasis of the award is proven achievements.

The Guidance Office will request the names of students from the faculty who meet the criteria.

Susquehanna Waldorf School

Stephen Jonathan Swartz Scholarship Fund

One (1) $700 scholarship will be awarded to Susquehanna Waldorf School, for subsidizing the cost of tuition for a student enrolling for their 2nd year through 8th Grade. Awardees will be required to demonstrate financial need, values of good citizenship, and a commitment to the school environment.
