Lancaster County Conservancy Endowment
About the Organization
Our mission: “Because clean air, fresh water and wild places are vital to every generation”
We have protected more than 5,000 acres of natural land since our founding in 1969. We envision a strong relationship between people and the natural environment, which contributes to a healthy and enriched community. Our nature preserves are open to the public free of charge every day of the year. Positioned as we are above the Chesapeake Bay, we seek to safeguard and steward the natural lands within the Lower Susquehanna River Watershed.
Why is endowment important to your mission?
While annual gifts support the Conservancy’s work from year to year, a planned gift such as an endowment contribution honors donors’ wishes and sustains their support for the Conservancy’s work far into the future. Whether it’s protecting and stewarding our treasured natural lands, greening our cities or sharing nature with children, it is your support that helps make it all happen.Your gift to this endowment fund strengthens the foundation that protects the natural world you love, right here at home in Lancaster County.
