The Lancaster Central Market has been the beating heart of our community for nearly 300 years. Today, we are home to more than sixty locally-owned small businesses showcasing the very best of Lancaster under one historic roof. We are the city’s biggest economic driver, the epicenter of the city’s food scene, and a cultural touchstone that brings together and celebrates the diversity of our community. As we near our tricentennial, we feel a special calling to ensure that this unique Pennsylvania treasure endures long into the future. To that end, our endowment with the Lancaster Community Foundation was established to ensure the long-term upkeep of our beautiful and iconic 1885 market house. Your contribution will help finance the ever-evolving, continuously ongoing care and maintenance of your hometown market.
