The Sam & Verda Taylor Fund

The Sam & Verda Taylor Fund provides on-going support to the artistic and cultural life of Lancaster County with an emphasis on public performances or exhibits by an arts organization.

Since 2006, this fund has provided grants to support the performing arts throughout Lancaster County, including:  Millersville University’s children and youth performing arts project, Music for Everyone’s instrument repair initiative and supporting access to music for immigrants and refugee youth, Lancaster Orchestra Symphony’s sound discovery outreach programs to bring music and instrument engagement to students and the community, and Imani Edu-Tainers African Dance Company to expand knowledge and repertoire of traditional West African dances and drum rhythms.
