Passion Grants

Passion Grants convert The Community Foundation’s donors’ passions into impact through supporting programming in a broad range of focus areas. These projects turn love of community into lasting change!

These funds include:

  • The Ada F. Harr Fund for home health or custodial care
  • The Lancaster Environmental Fund for environmental effort
  • The Patrick Kenney, Jr. and K.L. Shirk Funds for human relations
  • The Florence Starr Taylor Fund for visual arts
  • The Sam and Verda Taylor Fund for performing arts
  • The Better Lancaster Fund for early childhood development
  • The John J. Snyder Fund for historic preservation

CBO Capacity Building Grants

CBO Capacity Building Grants support capacity building work designed to help fulfill an organization’s mission. Examples of capacity building includes strategic planning, marketing or staff development.
