Let’s get a complete count in Lancaster County!
Lancaster County is a community that continuously comes together to support initiatives that will positively impact the future of the county. Not only do we have one of the largest per capita days of giving (the ExtraGive!), but year-round there are organizations and individuals who work to continuously improve the community.
This year is the 2020 Census, and Lancaster County once again has come together through a Complete Count Committee (CCC) and subcommittees to help ensure we get a complete count of people in Lancaster County!

Census data is immensely important to the community
The Census impacts federal funding, business decisions, school lunches, plans for highways, and many other community programs and city decisions. The Census is not only important, but it is also easy and safe.
This year, it is easier than ever to fill out the Census because it is available online beginning March 12th though Census day, April 1st.
Recognizing the importance of the Census, the Lancaster County Community Foundation has joined efforts to get a complete count through the CCC and subcommittees. As part of our efforts, we will be providing access to a computer on Census day at our offices, for those who may not have access to a computer or internet. We have also compiled a list of other locations who will provide access to a computer, and we will continue to update the list weekly as more arise. As Census day approaches, we will continue to come together with members of the community to identify other ways that we can support the efforts to getting a complete count in Lancaster County.
Don’t get left out of the Census; an extraordinary community is a community that’s COUNTED! Learn more about the Census and where you should be counted at 2020Census.gov.
