This trust was established by the late Lester Furhman to support charitable projects in Lancaster County as determined by the Community Foundation's board of directors. Mr. Furhman served as a laborer at the Sensening Corporation for 15 years and was born in Centerville. He was the son of Harvey B. and Ida Baker Fuhrman, and was an avid photographer and chess player. Mr. Furhman was also a veteran of the U.S. Army and served during World War II.
