Frank A. Wint Memorial Fund

Frank A. Wint, after being diagnosed with cancer in kindergarten, courageously battled the disease throughout his years in the Lampeter-Strasburg School District.  He ultimately lost his battle during his senior year of high school.

To honor their son’s life, his parents, Frank H. and Noreen Wint established a scholarship fund for graduating students from Lampeter-Strasburg High School. Annually, the Frank A. Wint Memorial Fund is providing two $500 awards to members of the senior class in recognition of those individual qualities of strength and character, effort for self-improvement, and contribution to fellow students by example and achievement.  The selection process for award recipients is managed by a selection committee made up of Lampeter-Strasburg School District officials.
