Welcome to Lancaster County Community Foundation’s scholarship page! We have several scholarship programs for students throughout the county. The application for our general scholarship program for the 2012-13 school year is now posted (see link below). The application deadline is January 15, 2012. Our general scholarship program consists of the four funds listed below. Please call (507) 931-0414 for more information about our general scholarship program. - Joseph and Claudine Hess Scholarship Fund (available to students attending all schools in Lancaster County).
- Albert S. Rosman Scholarship Fund (available to students attending Conestoga Valley High School).
- Charles W. Shoff Scholarship Fund (available to students attending all schools in Lancaster County planning a course of study in Geology, Medicine, Agriculture, Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Drafting)
- George W. McKibbin Scholarship (available to African American students from all schools in Lancaster County).
In addition to our general scholarship program, the Community Foundation provides several other scholarships that are administered through the local schools listed below. Students attending these schools who are interested in learning more about these scholarships and obtaining application materials are encouraged to contact their school’s guidance or financial aid department. 1. Garden Spot High School (John H. Gehr Fund) 2. Lampeter-Strasburg High School (Frank A. Wint Memorial Fund) 3. Millersville University (Nathan Schaeffer Scholarship Fund) *Applicants must be currently enrolled at MU in an education program
